iPad Pro How do you arrange your main screen?

Applications that I multitask or use multiple times a day are in the dock. Other apps that I often use are just on the main page with everything else in folders, usually named with verbs (e.g. Play, Learn, Work, Travel). Everything's on one page.
I tried putting everything in the dock but it just doesn't work for me. I had to put nearly everything in folders and I found that to be annoying.

I use only the dock with 12 slots (11 apps, 1 folder) + 3 slots of the last used apps on the right side on my 10.5.
The dock is just faster than the home screen imho.

My OCD requires me to put all Apple apps alphabetical on the first screens and then start a new screen where my 3rd party apps are placed alphabetical.
Mainly folders, except for half a dozen icons which have been arranged in the same order at the top since I got my first iPhone and, I kind of, cant stop doing it now

I have folders, arranged in alphabetical order. Wow - I must really be a pro user, since I didn’t even realize you could put folders in the dock. I’m always trying to make sure mine are arranged so that all the heads show in my background photo of my grandkids. ;-p

My general approach is a completely empty main screen, with most used icons in the dock. Depending on the iPad, I'll have less frequently used apps on the next page and so on with the least used apps on the farthest page.

Everything alphabetically arranged, 3 screens; one for productivity apps, work related apps (RDP, TeamViewer) another for media, reading, general stuff and another for drawing apps, photo apps and such. In the dock most used apps, the settings icon and the 3 most recent apps. Only one folder for all the stuff I don’t want to see.
Nothing too crazy. Just good old fashion mixture of folders and icons based on frequency and some muscle memories carried from iPhone. Yes, I try to mirror the iPhone home screen layout on iPad.
One big thing I miss is the ability to scroll through supported apps when doing split screen, which was introduced back in iOS 9 I think. Finding another app from home screen is so less efficient and sometimes you cannot quit to home screen. I wish dock can have a feature similar to macOS launcher, where you find all apps installed on your iPad.
