I have a 2015 rMBP that was purchased in June 2016. I just was wiping the screen with a very slightly dampened micro fiber cloth and noticed it is streaked. I tried cleaning it several times, but it still looks streaky. Any ideas on how to get this thing clean?

The Retina MacBook Pro comes with a screen cleaner. It's with the documentation in the white envelope.

There's a delaminating issue that's affected 2 of my 3 pros. Don't use soap. I'd only use water and a microfiber cloth.

I use a microfiber cloth, with hot to warm water only. Wring it out tightly, then wipe the screen. If the cloth is warm enough, the water evaporates and the screen is streak free, too. Same for ipad, phone and pod... Have done this for years on all my electronics, tv too. Never had a problem.

I'm gonna use this thread for an issue I'm having.

On the display there's sort of a line of marks/spots that I can't seem to get rid of, but I haven't tried anything more than damp microfibre cloth because I don't want to risk damaging the coating, seems like the keyboard is causing it because the marks on the display lines up when the lid is closed, any suggestions?

Take it to apple, it could be that issue with screen mottling.

Looks like I'll have to do that sometime, was hoping to avoid having to do that.

It's not too bad right now, it's only noticeable when the screen is off and there's light shining on it.
