The ipad is a great gadget hands down, one thing though, how do you keep your screen clean from the greasy fingers?????

The screen has oleophobic coating on it, so it most likely wouldn't be advisable to use Windex or any such solvent.

I also plan on using my iKlear solution, with the included microfiber cloth. I use it on my iPhone, MacBook Pro, and all of my other LCD screens and it works great. By far the best cleaner I have found.

Just got the iKlear kit for my iPhone--very nice--great from my iMac as well. Was on sale awhile back on Amazon for $6.95--but still worth the price at $15.59.

Just like with the 3GS it has a oleophobic coating so don't use any solvent, spray, or anything... just dry cloth, microfiber, etc. I wouldn't use iKlear or anything like that. My 3GS only needs the dry fiber wipe and it is perfect. The oleophobic coating is great. Much better than 3G screen.

One person already suggested this, but I figured I'd repeat it because it's the best thing...

a clean cotton shirt!

This question was asked on another thread, and someone swore by using a clean undershirt. I gave it a try, and it is truly the best thing--way better than some diluted eyeglass spray, my iPhone microfiber, etc.

Undersrhirt, ladies and gents... undershirt.

I last clean my iPad screen using the Monster Ultimate Performance screen cleaner and microfiber. Worked great and is safe for the screen.

I use a clean dry microfiber cloth to clean the screen, that's all you really need.

There are a lot of options. Having cleaned and cleaned my original 1g iPhone constantly for the first few weeks after iday I pretty much stopped cleaning my two next iPhones and now iPad. My tshirt does the job to suite my needs.

Well...

I dont have an iPad just yet since im waiting for the 3G to be released. However, id clean it like I clean all my gadgets with a glass screen.

A damp soft cloth/microfiber and some elbow grease. Ive always done it like that and it works like a charm. No chemicals and no fuss. ;)

It's glass man. Anything that is ok to clean glass is ok to use on the iPad.

That's not really true. If there is a coating on the glass that could be removed over time with things like Windex. That's why you should never use Windex on anti-glare surfaces on televisions. Repeated use can eventually do away with it.
