I haven't seen a deal that low for an AW S3 GPS, but maybe there was a refurb out there at that price. You have to be careful from whom you buy refurbs though. I would always trust Apple refurbs (

Apple's come with a one-year warranty (same as new) and are eligible for the same Applecare+ plans as new products. Knowing the details about other vendors' refurb return policies is an important factor to consider.

I'll use Amazon for price comparisons, but for some electronic items I won't buy from it (even though I have Prime) because of the return policy. Apple and Best Buy's policies--and even Walmart--are much better.
