What do you use and why? I'm torn on the issue and really hate that there are so many options and changes.

I personally use option 2 to get into my phone. Would love to hear what everyone else uses since Apple changed the default to option 1.

Thanks!

Ultimately it only matters what works better for you. That said, I use option 4, as that is how it worked before iOS 10.

(Edited to correct the option number.)

Technically that would be option 4, but I get what you're saying ;)

You are right. I guess with me having iPhone 6 the raise to wake option isn't even an option.
I'm messing with option 1 just to try it out since it was enabled by default. I'll most likely stick with 2.

Funny thing, this will all change next year if there isn't a home button haha!

As much as I love Apple, I have to say this is pretty poor design if so many people (looks like everyone so far) has re-enabled touch to unlock.

Thank you!! I do not like having to press the home button every time to unlock, didn't realize yet that it could be turned on/off.

At least they are providing the option (which they can also then take away too).

Raise to wake is only possible on iPhone 6S and SE, so for many people options are limited.

That's why I included options 3 and 4.

I'm trying Option 1 for a couple days to see if I like it...there must be a reason Apple implemented "push" to open.

I personally prefer the Raise To Wake + Rest Finger to Unlock. But my wife actually prefers the new default way that requires one to press the home button in order to get to the home screen. She like to be able to see all the notifications on her lock screen even if she accidentally engages TouchID when turning on her screen.
