I ran iLiberty, and it completed just fine. The phone was already jailbroken. How do I know the phone is unlocked before I ship it out?

if you can just put in any sim card other than the original iphone sim and if it places calls then it's unlocked.

you don't need to unlock if you're gonna put a 3g iphone sim. its still an AT&T phone card.

but the original iPhone is designed to only recognize the SIM card that it was activated on

if an ATT card other than the one it was using works without having to activate and sign a contract, then it should be unlocked

Baiscally I want to insure thats its unlocked before it goes all the way to Malta to the guy that paid $425 for it on eBay this morning. I will pop in my friends T-Mobile card and see if it works.
