I thought the Milanese band was interesting when I saw it a couple of years ago but I prefer the leather black classic buckle. That's what I have on my Apple Watch 1. Seeing that I can't get that band with the watch I went with the Milanese. Maybe I'll give it a try or I'll order the leather band and sell the other one while it's still new. One benefit of the Milanese is it will match the space black. The leather band will show some stainless where it connects.

Apples Milanese loop band is a nice and soft mesh like Stainless Material that pairs well with the stainless model. The only downside, is you might have to readjust the magnets every so often as they loosen.

I love the Milanese loop. Very comfortable with the stainless-professional look. I wear mine daily to work. If you have a hairy wrist it could pull some hairs. I dont deal with that though.

I love it because it works for everything I need it to do. It looks good for work, and it is breathable and rinses off after running. Hands down my favorite band.

I use a third party milanese band, but it's by far my favorite watch band type. I used a milanese loop on my Huawei Watch (1st gen) and immediately fell in love.

I’ve been wearing the watch for four days and am very happy with the band.

I actually immensely dislike the Milanese loop. I have one and never wear it as it constantly slides and loosens up my watch. I'm more of a leather/nato strap sort of fellow.

Newbie question: when posts talk about Milanese bands is it a specific mesh or are all of the slinky bands referred to by this name?
I bought a silver mesh BlackWeb brand from Walmart last night and I love the way it feels. I have hairy arms and no problem yet. It’s only been a day but I like it so far. Not sure how long it will last but for the price it’s great fun. I didn’t set out to get a watch cover but it came with one and I am enjoying the contrast. I like not having a buckle.
I would like having more colors but not in the budget after splurging on the series 3

Thank you! Very interesting article but at the end it said just be sure to keep the band and case materials the same... wonder why it says that.

LOL well ok.. I don’t care what people think.. if I have fun mixing things that’s all that matters ;)

I have heard something similar before. My friend was told not to mix platinum or white gold rings by her jeweller as could react or wear down the gold.

From an interior design point of view am all about mixing metals - brass, gold, copper and silver.

Also interesting! I like mixing too. As for gold and platinum, I don’t have that budget so I’m sure I’m good hehe

Bought my wife Apple's Milanese Loop to go with her S0 Sport, works well. While the adapters are shiny, there's enough matte that it doesn't look too weird. I had a 3rd party heavier "mesh" band I didn't mind but bought a USD $10 knock-off black Milanese Loop last December (in anticipation of a Space Grey S2 I didn't end up keeping). It was surprisingly good! I tend to swap around my various Watch bands every so often and I wore that black one for a month straight. Went alright with the silver Sport.
