how do I listen to radio on the iphone? I assume you can download an app and listen to it through your data plan. I am not talking about that. I don't want to eating up my data plan by listening to the radio

Does iphone have a good 'ol radio tuner?

Wait, what? I am upset, my 5-year-old Nokia N95 has a radio capability, how could Apple...
Anyways, thanks for letting me know, that puts me back to square one, because I really like to listen to my local radio station.

Because radio is dying and Apple is consistently on the verge of the future tech (refer to mobile flash).

The iPhone doesn't have the built in capability to receive AM/FM radio signals.

Tune In is useful if you still follow terrestrial radio. They have a free version and a pro version ($0.99). One caveat is that it will use data unless you are on WiFi.

I can't use the wifi at work so I would end up using my IPhone data. Are there any products (hardware or software) that can be used? Thanks.

Hardware-wise there this, for example.

And remember,

"I was told that I could listen to the radio at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven, I told bill that if Sandra is going to listen to her headphones while she’s filing then I should be able to listen to the radio while I’m collating so I don’t see why I should have to turn down the radio because I enjoy listening at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven."

If there is no WiFi at your workplace, you should be listening to an actual radio.
