How do you make a .pdf with multiple pages>?

I'm in preview with about 15 letters that ive scanned in the 'drawer' and I want to make it a single document. I tried printing to pdf but no luck. How do you do this??

Put them into one document, say in Word for instance, each on its own page, and then print as a PDF.* There may be ways in Preview to add pages, but this way will certainly work too.

What format are your original scans?

Be careful of using Word to merge PDFs. I've found it to be horribly inefficient.

I used Combine PDFs-- works pretty well. I don't think its universal binary as it ran pretty slow...
