how do you make a screenshot in OS X?
i forgot how..

...and if you hold down control while doing any of these shortcuts, the screenshot will be placed in the clipboard instead of saving it to a file!

For PCs I think you need to 'print screen' and then crop it as you choose. Nice and crap like all windows.. Or get a third-party app off google. Search "screenshot" or something.

Not that I like defending Windows, but you have different options there to, like alt-printscreen, which will just "shoot" the active window. (But since all Windows users use full screen windows all the time the difference is purely academically... :p)
