Is there anyway that I could make the width of Picture in Picture wider than half of iPad screen? It seems that I couldn’t make it wider than half. I could place two fingers and move them apart to make it bigger than half but I have to hold my fingers on the screen. As soon as I let them go, the window is resized to half the screen.

I'm pretty sure it's limited to only half the size of screen...I just tried it on my iPad Pro, and it did the same thing.

If you have a 5th Gen iPad Pro (one with the M1 chip) then yes, you would be able to resize up to four windows using the Stage Manager feature. If you are like me, and have the 4th Gen iPad Pro or earlier, we're out of luck unfortunately as Apple does not support these machines for Stage Manager :( They may add a feature that allows people to resize the PiP (Picture in Picture) in iOS 16...but no news on that at the moment.

I can’t believe that I need to buy a new tablet with upgraded CPU just so that I could resize a window
I am sure this is not a technical issue. Apple just want us to buy a new tablet.
