How do you manually add individual movies and tv shows from your computer to the tv app in Catalina? I am not seeing a way to do that. I tried adding the file to the "Automatically Add to TV App" folder but, that didn't get the file to show in the computer section of the tv library.

When I upgraded to Catalina, it did it on its own. Mind you, it could not transfer my audiobooks to the iBooks app, was told there was not enough room in my computer. Of course not, my iTunes Library is on an external hard drive. Still, when I went to the TV app on my computer, the movies were there, but it did not show my movies on the TV app with Apple TV, I had to go to my computer icon on Apple TV and watch my movies and TV shows there. All in all, I had to restore back to Mojave and still the subtitles, on both my Apple TV show on the Centre screen (not the only one having this problem). Not to mention many of my apps no longer worked. Had to restore back to Mojave. Not impressed, as I have many international Movies and tv shows in my iTunes Library  I need to call Apple once again.......

The same as before. You drag it on the TV app window or the icon in the Dock, or File -> Add to library menu.
