Just wondering what configurations people use for their MB/MBP.

I personally have mine running in clamshell mode connected to a Westinghouse 37" LCD TV as my main display, with an external mouse and keyboard.

What about everyone else?

At the moment mine is sitting on an iLap whilst resting on my lap. At night I connect it to a 26" HDTV using a DVI-HDMI cable so I can watch movies or programmes. Depends on the time of day and what mood I'm in I guess. It might be worth making this in to a poll?

I use my current laptop all by itself, I'll be using my MBP in the same configuration, maybe a mouse for occasional gaming.

Well, I sort of cheated, because I don't actually have a laptop yet. But I'll be using it at work entirely with two screens and an external mouse and keyboard. I suspect at home I'll often just use it by itself, but I voted for the former option, as that's primarily how I'll use it.

Burning my lap with it at the moment, haven't got round to ordering my iLap yet. Always in laptop mode with no extras; I hate sitting at desks!

When at the office, I always run in clamshell mode with an external monitor/KB/mouse attached. That's probably about 60% of my usage.

That's because your desk is so damn cold.

Connected to a 24" Dell monitor with Apple KB and old Logitech 2 button optical scroll mouse. :)
