I want to start over and re-upload everything again and I want the playlists currently stored on iTunes Match gone forever (they keep coming back to my itunes when match is updated)

Don't think you can start over without creating a new ID.

Just delete the Playlists in iTunes and they will disappear. Match should be updating dynamically and not at a set interval or time.

okay. here it goes . this will work.

step one
back up everything
back up your mac twice!

on the mac with all the content, export the itunes music folder to an external hard disk

delete everything and tell itunes to delete it from the cloud as well

sign out of itunes match on all devices

copy music folder to itunes

turn on itunes match

it should fix everything.

make sure you do not delete any songs on itunes match that are not in the library

i suppose you could sign up another computer to itunes match and download the entire cloud as an extra step

if the play lists keep coming back, then i don't know

tip : you do not need applecare to call apple care for any itunes related problem, so don't hesitate to call.

this post sounds pretty straight forward
