How do you turn off the iMac screen?

I know how to dim the screen, and I'm using Shades to help with that, but I would like it turned completely off.

For example, if I'm burning a DVD overnight, I want the screen to be completely shut off, instead of lighting up the room like it's the middle of the day. Any help?

I use active screen corners (bottom left) to turn mine off.
