Thinking of getting the next version coming out later this year. My only concern is customer support in case I run into problems. With the iPhone I have always been able to walk into the Apple store and get it exchanged, no questions asked. But I wonder how the process works with the Google Nexus.

Any chance Google opens their own physical 'stores' like Apple? It would be nice to be able to play with the Nexus phones, tablets, Google Glasses etc. before buying one. And of course, it will be nice to get some technical support while in the store.

if you need a warranty replacement, you call up support, tell them what's wrong with the phone, and they'll send you out a replacement (two day air). they'll also give you a shipping label you can print out to send back the broken device. it's somewhat painless, but it isn't as smooth as walking in and out of an apple store.
