Is anyone using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Teams (video calls, etc) on a M1?

I am wondering if it is smooth or not.

I have an older MacBook Pro (2016), and it sometimes struggles with Teams video calls.

Thanks!

Office is fully native for M1; Teams is not but it works fine.

Both (Office & Teams) work well. Teams works with Rosetta and Office is native for apple silicon.
BUT there are some important plug-ins (like think-cell) that don´t work with the apple m1 chip yet and have to be ported to work correctly...

Onedrive isnt native as yet. Updated and installed insider preview just in case but still intel.

Yeah OneDrive is a little sluggish. Teams still works better just using a web browser than the actual app, but this is also the case on Windows.

Teams notifications are a bit of joke in macOS currently but I've heard they are fixing that at some point to use native macOS notifications.

Had struggles getting Teams client work on my M1 (got just blank window), and I'm not sure what finally fixed it so I was able to run it.

Been running Office 365, Teams, and OneDrive since day 1 on my M1 Air and haven't had any issues at all.

No issues with OneDrive, Office 365 (Word/Excel/Powerpoint) on my M1 MBA so far. Not a Teams user so can't comment on how this runs on an M1.

Excel, word, powerpoint and outlook are native and work great for me.

Teams is through rosetta and works great but eats RAM

OneDrive for business is through rosetta and work but is as much crap as it was on my intel mac (sometimes it suddenly starts to swell in RAM, max ram usage it has wanted before I killed and restarted it was around 16 GB. Had this issue both on intel mac and M1).
