I'm currently using MyBootMgr RefindPlus to chainload OpenCore and enable AMD hardware acceleration on my 10.14.6 install.

Lately things have been running a little slow so I want to boot into Safe Mode to clear out caches and junk.

Thing is, holding Shift while booting doesn't work anymore, whether I press it before the boot picker appears or after picking my boot drive.

How can I get my machine into Safe Mode with the boot picker?

How to get boot options in RefindPlus is written at the bottom of the main screen. Select the target item, Mac OS in your case, press "F2", and the boot options will be displayed for selection. Alternatively, go into OpenCore, select the target Mac OS item, and press "Shift + Enter" to boot into safe mode.

Search for "safe mode" in the documentation/manuals for OpenCore or RefindPlus (Relies on rEFInd's manual) for more.

F2 did the trick, thank you. Google has gotten so smart it thought I meant anything but what I was actually searching for so I could not for the life of me find the documentation.
