I installed a trial program from Paragon Software their NTFS for Mac 15 which installed a kext file. I'm unable to remove it since I apparently have insufficient privileges. I'm the admin so I've tried various terminal commands none of which has worked. The latest was: sudo rm -rf /Library/Extensions/ufsd_NTFS.kext/

Any suggestions? I've moved the offending trial version app to the trash and deleted it along with other files from paragon. Unfortunately this kernel extension is left behind. I'd really like to see it gone.

I'm running the latest version 10.13.2 of HS on a 2015 imac.

Rather than put the app in the trash, use its uninstall feature: https://kb.paragon-software.com/article/4500

As chrfr said, /Library/Extensions is not protected by the SIP (my bad).

However, /System/Library/Extensions is protected by the SIP.

"However, /System/Library/Extensions is protected by the SIP."

Exactly, I found that the path to the paragon kext was: /System/Library/StagedExtensions/Library/ufsd_NTFS.kext
