Click the desktop to bring focus to the Finder, then hit shift-command-g (all three at once). Paste the below path into the box that pops up and hit enter again. This will bring up a Finder window with your custom color profiles shown and you can rename them from there.
It has been a while since I did this, but I seem to recall you have to logout then back in for the name change to appear on the System Pref pane. I could be wrong on this last bit though.
