If an iOS user switches to another phone platform, how does it sync with OS X? I'm certain iTunes can't be used as the main conduit. My music is DRM free, of course my apps would be useless, I assume Google could handle contacts, calendar and mail. Just curious for those who have switched.

Thanks! I'll check it out. I got iSync to work in 10.8.4, doubt it'll do much good. I haven't had a chance in checking out other phones, but I'm getting tempted. My music, movies (most of which I ripped) and books have been DRM stripped so those should sync. It's good to know there's an app to use iTunes. :)

ripped moves are fine, I rip mine and they transfer no problem (I use Apple TV2 preset)

I have a playlist folder setup to sync to my Android & iPod Touch

iPod syncs automatically while charging, Android I have set to sync at a set time each day automatically also
