Question: How does Parental controls work on ATV?

normally on my cable box, I would restrict certain channels or content based on a 4 digit password entered via the numerical keypad on the remote... how does this work on ATV?

The AppleTV has a bunch of parental control options available. You choose the 4 digit password and then set all the restrictions based on different categories.
