how does texting on iphone compare to t9?

just wondering how long it takes to get used to and stuff... i mean i find texting on t9 really easy yet again iphone is more like a real keyboard, which is even easier. just wanted to hear people opinions on this.

No comparison. The iPhone keyboard (once you're used to it - and it does take a week to get used to), is way faster than t9 texting.

I watch people use t9 now, and it seems soooooo slow.

Texting is a breeze on the iPhone and much easier than on a conventional phone.

After 7 months using my iPhone, I sold it on eBay the other day in preparation for the 3G model, and I've had to revert to my old SE K800i until the new iPhone arrives on the 11th of July.

When I tried to write a simple text yesterday it was excruciatingly slow, and the handset felt like something out of the Flintstones!
