¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm trying out VLC for mobile. While I can get it to connect under the Network tab to my SMB-shared iTunes library folder, I am not sure how the Media Library under the Audio tab works.

The explanation on the Audio tab says (among other things) "For playback you can stream media from a server on your local network". Clicking Learn More directs me to sync with my Mac using iTunes File Sharing but that would, I believe, transfer tracks to my phone. I'm not interested in transferring music to the phone; I wish to stream.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding VLC's functionality on the Audio tab, but it is possible there to browse and music more intuitively, for instance by artist and album? On the Network tab there's just a file explorer which isn't very user-friendly.

Thanks for your help
Philip
