How well does the error correction option work in itunes. I presume that it is something worth it?

How effective is error correction in itunes?

I don't bother with it when I import my discs because I don't get any glitches anyway. If I had an iffy optical drive or was using a lot of different apps at the same time as I imported tracks, I'd probably turn it on.
