I'm looking into buying an iPod classic (160GB) but I would prefer a larger capacity. Will the next classic update (most likely in September) make it even bigger? Will it even be updated? Will it move to flash? What do you guys all think? I really want one but 160GB is just an annoying size for me at the moment.

The biggest HDDs that the iPod could go to will be the 120GB (single platter) or the 240GB (dual-platter).

Don't know when, how, how much, if at all, though - that's just the available drives and I don't think they're right to go just yet.

Do you reckon they'll get an update at all this September?

Like I said - I have no idea.

For the past few years Apple have been revising their iPod line around October/November just before the Christmas rush begins.
