Other How high are the iPhone numbers gonna go?

It can’t get higher than iPhone 99 because they only allotted two digits for the model number. This will cause a panic at Apple around iPhone 98.

Well I guess in 2106 iPhones will be long gone… replaced by something we haven't even dreamed of today.

Who knows, by then Apple, Inc. might have vanished as well.

Version numbers will be the least concern.

Very likley Apple will move away from standard numbers and change to iPhone, iPhone Pro/Max and iPhone Ultra.

Same with iPads and MacBook's.

They should simply go to iPhone (year) and iPhone Pro (year) like they do with Macs and drop the number scheme.
 
Nah, it will stop eventually. I suspect at some point it will change to just iPhone and iPhone Pro. You then select each based on the sizes and colors within those two names.
