I have two Air Pod Pro cases and I am trying to figure out which one belongs to my Air Pod Pro's (the other would be my brothers and he has since replaced it with a new one). Does it matter? Does it have to unpaired somehow?

Are the AirPods paired to your iPhone? I believe if you open an empty case near your iPhone, the one paired to your iPhone will just show up, whereas your brother's wouldn't show up, or you'll get a message saying it's paired to another iPhone.

Unfortunately it wasn't doing that for whatever reason but it looks like the serial numbers are on the inside of the lid and I was able to verify that against the serial number listed for my air pods when I went into bluetooth settings.

thanks!
