How in-ear are the AirPods Pro

I hate in-ear headphones, so my wireless headphones are AirPods, which are completely external, and Bose Soundsport, which have removable soft tips that just rest on the ear canal.

Are the AirPods Pro more the Bose style, or the "pull on your ear lobe as you ram the earbud as deep into your head as you can" style?

I would say, not quite the same as 'place the Bose sound sports on your ear' but definitely not jam them in, the gentlest of pushes to barely seal the ear.
So somewhere in the middle of the two scenarios IMHO

I agree. They‘re in ear, but because of the air vent they still feel kinda loose.

I think they are in ear and also feel tight. So, far prefer the fit of my old airpods, but that could change. I use mine mostly for phone calls, so old airpods may still be better for that, since with the new ones, I feel like they fit so tight, that it feels strange when talking. Not sure how to describe it.
