There are four speakers, and it seems they are of reasonable quality.

Sounds decent in the 10.5” iPad Pro too. Big step up in audio from the similarly sized 2019 10.2” iPad. We have both. And from what the reviews say, the 10.5” Pro is also a big step up from 10.5” Air too. Both the 10.2” iPad and the 10.5” Air have two speakers whereas the 10.5” Pro has four like the 11”.

Am always amazed by the sound quality of my 10.5 pro. Combined with Apple Music it’s a great all in one combo.

For me 11” iPad Pro sounds considerably better and richer than iPhone XS Max. Four speakers surrounding the iPad just produces better sound than two tiny speakers equipped on iPhone.

Sound quality is really subjective. I have both Pro sizes at home and don’t feel that the audio is anything to shout about. Sure, better than some phones but that’s not really saying much.

have such amazeing sound quality from such small speakers?
Simply because it has 4, and they are placed around the iPad (vs stereo speakers only on one side on the non-Pro iPads). Just by having the better stereo separation will improve the sound quality impression a lot.
