Hello,
as the title sugest, I want to know how to include the router attached hard disk in the TimeMachine backup.
In the existing backups I see the hard disk folder, clicking on it nothing happens. The disk is connected to the MacBook Pro (High Sierra) via SMB.

Thank you for input.

Time Machine is designed to backup the boot drive and any internal drives on the Mac. USB or network drives are excluded by default and can't removed from the excluded list.

I dont know that much about network drives but the TM backup of USB attached drives is definitely possible. Search on YouTube.
I assume that the backup of network drives is also possible because in the oposite direction (Mac TM -> Router drive) is working.
