So, I chose a glossy screen on my 15 inch MBP, but now I am having second thoughts. Just how innaccurate is the color on a glossy screen? I will mostly be using my computer for more general stuff - programming, web surfing, gaming, etc...however, I would be interested in getting into some video editing and photography. This would be a hobby, nothing professional. I also have an LCD I will be using with the computer, which could be used for graphics work when I am at home. I have gone to the Apple store and looked, but this does not help for the long run. Glossy looked fine to me, so any advice would be appreciated.

for an amateur photographer and video editor, you should not be worried about it. Besides, real photographer and video editors wont be doing the bulk of their work on the MBP because even the matte screen isnt perfect.

I love te new glossy screen. I am very satisfied with it and pretty much use it the way you described your going to.
