iPod How iPod Mini reformatted?

Does anyone have the instructions on how to reformat the iPod Mini? Is it possible to reformat while it's not hook up to my Mac mini?

You mean completely wipe it right? You have to have it connected to a computer. Launch iTunes and hit the restore button. That'll revert it to factory settings.
