Hello Mac users :)

I am a spy from the PC world, and thinking about switching sides. I am quite a savy PC user and gamer. I dont really have problems with Windows, no crashed, no BS etc... but i am intrigued on the Macs. I am a developer for erotic sites (simple PHP, SQL, Apache) stuff but i want to get deeper into graphics and video cutting. So i set myself a limit for a new computer. 4K EUR. I put together a PC along the lines of a E6600, 4GIG DDR2-800, 1TB, 4 Raptors in Raid0, 2x8800GTX and things like that. Then i looked at http://www.apple.com and the machienes do look tasty, altough not the price, but they use ATI 1900's...mmh thats a bit bugging me. You see, i am looking to a perfomance machiene and something i can play Oblivioun or any other new game on without having to play with the settings.

I never used a Mac or Mac OS. Could someone please in simply down to the point words explain to me why you chose a Mac over a PC and please keep in mind that i do not experience problems with windows, other then its ugly shell.

Thanks guys

Well, to be honest its porn. Straight out porn. LOL

I read through the links (thanks) and it seems that most like the look and stability of their macs. I am going down to the store now to get my hands dirty with a femac...oh wait...e-mac...or something like that ;-)

I'll report back!

The dark side kinda always interested me. Everyone wanted to be Darth Vader :D

Well we can always dream, and good luck with your x-rated adventures of TinyTim and the forthcoming MacPro
