Works great on my 2015. I did a clean install as I had a lot of disk space (100+ GB) used up by "system" that I wanted to clear out. The only issue I had was a compatibility problem with MS Word + Catalina + 2015 MBP with Radeon Graphics that has since been resolved. Echoing @ScreenSavers, performance is great!

I have Catalina 10.15.2 running on a MacBook Pro 2015 15 inch. The only thing that disappoints me is that Music doesn't keep all the album illustrations and that Pages still can't paste and match style from a frame on the imdb web site (nothing happens). For the rest no complaints. The OS is snappy.

Sorry, slightly off topic: While I was waiting for my 16" MBP a friend lent me his old 2012 15" MBP with i7 and 8GB RAM/256GB SSD to play with Catalina. I clean installed the OS, wiping all existing partitions. I still have it, till the new year.

It's been wonderful. Super snappy and stable even with Xcode, Firefox (many many tabs), Safari, Apple TV etc running. I can imagine it will be even better on newer hardware.
