I’ve been listening to the Discovery station every now and then since it became available a year ago. I’ve never found it better than any other list that recommends music to me. But during the last couple of weeks, I’ve noticed it keeps on pumping the best music ever. Almost everything is to my taste. Like, tens or hundreds of good songs I’ve never heard, or might have heard but don’t have on my lists.

The best part is, it’s not limited to the genre I’ve been listening recently, but it seems to understand my taste of music generally. I have extensive lists with a LOT of music and this is now my #1 source of new additions.

I have no idea what happened, but it seems like they’ve updated the algorithm and it really does work. Anyone else with similar experience?

I'm interested to hear if this isn't just an isolated instance as my son has been agonising over AM vs Spotify, and has only stuck with Spotify for its superior recommendations.
