How is the experience of 10.3 on older hardware? Is it worth making the jump? Any difference with these devices since their days are numbered with the 32-64 bit dilemma? I'm surprised these devices get a new filesystem if they are getting ready to be abandoned by Apple.

How is iOS 10.3 behaving on iPhone 5 & similar devices?

The other point I'm worried is how many more updates is 10 going to receive and keep 32-bit support intact? What if this big update crops up some bugs here and there, and Apple moves on to 11 and doesn't update these devices after giving them a big new change to the system. I totally see Apple doing this.

That aside, it doesn't really change that 10.3 has been something that could be installed and used on those devices.
What about 10.3.1? Do we really know that 10.3.2 beta ditches 32, or hasn't been released? It hard to think such a big change would be made without some updates to work out any bugs before totally ditching 32. I bet 11 is when 32 is ditched. Is 11 here in a month or in the fall?
It's safe to say that, at least so far, we don't really know a fair bit about all those things.
iOS is usually released in September but gets announced in June.
I think there must be some issue with the 32-bit devices since 10.3 is missing OTA and there is no 10.3.2 beta. Maybe that's what 10.3.1 will do?
Just updated my iPhone 5, not my daily driver but used mainly as an iPod or when out cycling.
On casual usage the phone seems smoother in operation particularly in the music app where animations in iOS 10.2.* versions used to drop frames. The app switcher seems fine and all the maps apps i use seem to work fine.
App support will steadily dwindle for the iPhone 5 but at least the performance is still there unlike the iPhone 4 & 4s.

My iPhone 5 w/ 16 GB was updated to 10.3 on release day. I can't say that I notice any difference from 10.2.1.
