For those of you who were brave enough to be the first ones to upgrade, how is 6S+ handling iOS10? Any stuttering while scrolling? How is the battery life (after 1-2 days of upgrading)? I heard 3D Touch animation lag in landscape mode has been fixed. Is this true?

Thanks!

Battery life is slightly better. Animations still lag throughout the OS, not as much as ios 9 tho

That's new to me considering I haven't really noticed much of animation lag in iOS9 that the phone shipped with. Any serious issues with iOS10 I should be aware of?

Honestly it seems to be smoother than iOS 9

My only issue is a lack of star ratings in music

I've been running into a lot of scrolling stutter . Such as in the notifications, widgets, multitasking, and various apps. Disappointing.

With any big updates, it's best to do a clean install and set up as a new phone. Try this if you haven't done so. I'm curious to see if this will solve your issue. Please note that you should back up your SMS's and Photos you haven't saved.

I did a full restore (downloading the iOS 10.0.1 file from apples website and doing it through apple), but I did restore for an iCloud backup. I may try the latter again with no backup.

I just upgraded OTA to play with it as I'm getting my 7 plus tomorrow and it's excellent on a 6s plus. I'd think I had a 7 if I didn't know better, really. Smoother and faster.

While that may work for many, I never had any issues doing an ota upgrade. For people that use a lot of apps and have many configurations etc. it is unrealistic to reset as new each time. Some apps are fine because they have their own cloud setup while others one loses a lot of history and data.

Exactly. It would take me weeks to start from total scratch. Never had a problem (knock on sapphire!) and this time will be doing encrypted iTunes backup and iCloud also, but iTunes to try and save as complete a setup as possible.

Yeah I'm getting worse battery life too. About 3-4 hours less. Not sure what is causing it. Might try setting it up as new.
