I'm looking for a password manager. I grabbed 1Password Pro while it was free and I didn't really love it. For awhile I used Awesome Note with a password protector on it. I've been looking at this app for awhile now and was wondering if anyone else here would recommend this app. Thanks.

How is SplashID?

I use SplashID and like it very much. If you want to sync to the desktop, be aware that the companion application costs another $20, unless you already have a registration for a different version - then the desktop is free.
I've used SplashID since my early Palm days, so it was natural to move to it when I switched to the iPhone. It has improved with revision since it first came out for iPhone. Do know that there is a delay while it loads that some folks find annoying. It doesn't seem longer to me than many other apps. The most recent version allows you to attach images and documents to records, a very handy addition.

Pretty much agree with what iFerd says. SplashID on the iphone is my first password/info manager I've used, and it's quite good, although a little expensive when you add the desktop app, which I think is a big help if you have a lot of info to add. I have to admit I've not yet bought the desktop app however, because you get a free demo and I was able to add everything I needed up front during that period. Not sure if I will eventually buy it. The great thing is that my wallet is much thinner as a result!
There is a lite version - and a trial of the desktop (at least there was a trial of the Shopper desktop).
Personally, i don't like it. I'm not a heavy user at all - the lite version is all i need. But at least you can try it and see how it fits you!

Yes, there is a 30 day trial period for the desktop application. Too bad the App Store doesn't have any try before you buy options. But that's a different topic! I do agree that having the desktop makes managing large amounts of data entry much easier than doing it all on the iPhone. It also lets you make portable backups. I also often use the desktop version when I am on my computer to look up passwords and other information, instead of going to the iPhone.
Another feature of both the iPhone and desktop applications is that they automatically connect to web pages and fil in the proper username and password. Also, you can cut and paste any field on the iPhone. It also dials phone numbers, like most other iPhone applications do.
Other manangers may do the same things - I just haven't spent the time with them to make comparative statements.

I've been using it off and on since Palm days and then with BlackBerry. The iPhone app works well for me. They also improved the UI a little which makes it nicer.

I would try the lite version. After having bought SplashID (no lite version when I bought it), and 1Password Pro, I finally settled on mSecure. It's only $3.
I should have bought mSecure from the very beginning!
I alway end up buying multiple programs that do the same thing. You discover something better or a better program gets developed and you have no choice but to buy it.

if you get a little older version of of the desktop it is free. I could change but the info for years is in splashid.
another splashID fan....
i used it for years on my palm and loved it so pretty much knew that i'd like it for iphone, too... i like that it has the companion desktop (and i didn't even have to retype anything just imported my palm version to the desk top then did a sync!)
