Just watched this discussion of "Apple Intelligence" where Kovach and Gene Munster chat away about the pros and cons.

We all know Gene has been along for the Apple ride forever, and he does a nice job of playing the middle, tho of course he's biased.

Kovach tho, what's his deal? Never has anything meaningful to add beyond Apple Talking Points that he must get. And yet he's he CNBC mouthpiece for tech? Get a backbone buddy!

Felt bad for poor Gene that has to play second fiddle to this guy as Kovach works for CNBC while Gene is just a 'contributer'.

Discussion here if you need to feel the pain:

I agree. Steve Kovach clearly has not properly evaluated all of the features of "Apple Intelligence" in 18.2 and yet bases his conclusions of the entire feature set on his limited experience. I saw Kovach give incorrect information about Apple's ChatGPT integration and privacy to Becky Quick in another segment. It is embarrassing, quite frankly. I hope CNBC upgrades it's tech reporting by hiring reporters that actually have tech knowledge and experience.
