I have an iPhone 6 on iOS 10.3.3 and I would really like to update to iOS 11 for the new features but the battery issues everyone is talking about is keeping me from updating. So can anyone tell me how their devices are running and battery performance iOS 11.1 Beta 2?

It’ll be hard to say overall until everyone goes through a few charge cycles first. However, first impressions seem to be good. I’m not seeing any problematic drain, but this is an early assessment.

iPhone 7 here. Still crap. Normal Podcast/Waze app in the mornings for me during drive/workout I'm down to 75-80%..on iOS11 I'm at 44% or so when I pull into work from a full charge.

iPhone 8 Plus, 2nd charge on 11.1 v2.

Pretty happy with that.. as long as I am breaking the 1 hour/10% range I am good.

Has Apple acknowledged that a battery life issue even exists? I know that on 11.0.x mine and my wife's 7+'s were absolute garbage for battery life. On 10.3.3, both are stellar. It occurs to me that if Apple doesn't acknowledge there is a problem, we're not likely to get a resolution. I refuse to believe that having to buy a different phone is the solution.

Battery life is one issue in 11.1 beta 2. I experienced heavy lag y'day in ip7 all of sudden. Does it mean, its not very stable.

That does not mean a thing really since it may have been on the previous reading for a long time. ie on 100% for 10 hours and then drops 20% does not mean there is a problem.

Definitely not. Me watching it go down from 50% to 30% in a few minutes is completely normal and expected behavior for an iPhone. Thank you, Apple!

Update today (8 Plus):
84% Remaining
Usage - 3:24
Standby - 4:47

I am cool with this.

Anyone with an 8 model, this likely doesn't apply to you as the phone and battery are brand new. It's those of us with a 6, 6S or 7 model who are having issues.
