How is the boot time for Windows 7 running on iMac SSD?

Just curious, has anyone ever tested the boot time of Windows 7 running on iMac 27'' SSD?

If you boot Windows 7 on SSD with VMFusion 3 or Parallel 5, what is the boot time?

I am concerned because the main reason for me to get an SSD is to get a faster Windows 7 boot time.

I know this doesn't address your question, however my Imac I7 SSD boots in 17 seconds from the push of the on button. That means it is ready to use. It would be faster but I need to put in my password. It's quite fast. I haven't installed my Windows OS yet. I will be using XP though.

I can't answer in absolute terms, but I can say it is very fast (< 10 seconds).

My point of reference is an old Pre-core Dell running XP. That used to take what seemed like 30+ seconds to get to the log-in screen, then a few minutes after logging in for AVAST anti-virus to finish doing it's thing so I could actually do something.

Now, I've got the latest iMac with stock SSD, Windows 7 64 bit installed on that SSD, and Parallels 5 for the VM. It seems like I'm at the log-in screen in about 4-5 seconds, and AVAST finishes doing it's thing in about 4-10 more.

I can't say how much of the difference is in the SSD vs. the relative hardware upgrade, but the experience is crazy fast compared to how it was for me prior to this purchase. I might even use the word "magical"

For comparison, I'm running Win 7 64 Ultimate on the i7 2.93 w/ the stock 1TB 7200rpm HDD using Fusion 3.1. After starting Fusion and then pushing the 'Play' icon it takes right around 45 seconds until fully logging in and booting the desktop. Not bad really. That includes the time it takes to type a password.

I'd like to get an SSD but not really for improving this aspect of performance as I only start the VM once per day at most and usually only once per week.
