I would like to hear your experience, especially in compare to IOS 15.0.2.

Seems smoother to me and battery life seems fine. Always need to remember the battery life in the first couple of days isn't what will be experienced soon after.

iPhone 11 pro, and my battery is draining faster than normal. Just as it did in 15.1b3.

Seems worse

Photos and messages apps running off screen in background for full 60 mins overnight. And I didn’t take any long videos or send more messages suddenly yesterday.

Great on my iPhone 11, both performance and battery life.. makes me doubt about buying the 13 Pro.

Could be syncing to iCloud? Have you tried rebooting your iPhone?

Battery life seems a little better on my 12 Pro Max, the main performance problem I've noticed is lagging when app updates are installing. Normally I see that when a device is getting old and the updates to iOS have slowed it down. It took 3 years before I started seeing that on the iPhone X but the 12 is only a year old now and already showing signs of slowing down. ?

Same.

i went to bed last night with 70% life left and woke up to a phone that was turned off and needing a charge.

battery app cannot tell me what apps were using battery during the time the runaway battery depletion was occurring.

11 pro max here.

Updated my sons 7 to 15.1 from iOS 14 and I’ve been checking his batt stats overnight and photos is using background activity for hours overnight after the update. And it’s only been overnight while on a charge. Maybe the photos app is doing its indexing and curating after the new install? Maybe it will go away after a few days? We will see… we will see…!! For now I’ll keep my 7 on 14.8.1. It’s nice having a guinea pig phone to see what bugs are there before I update my own!

The background activity and indexing for photos and messages stopped after the first night.

Can anyone share your battery life experiences on 11/11 Pro/ 11 Pro Max running on 15.1?

Performance is slightly worse, most noticeable in animation stutters. Battery life seems the same.

Hmm. Ok. His has been going 3 nights in a row now. I’ll check tonight and see if it stops.
My battery life hasn’t been great. Photos background activity as you mentioned for the first night then stopped. Then came back 2 days later. Restarted the phone and then photos background activity stopped. Battery life still not great but Would try that if you haven’t already

iOS 15.1 on my 13 Pro Max is working great. Battery life is still impressive and my phone is still running smooth and fast.
