Got both the 12.9 and 11 and think I am going to keep the 11" due to comfort. How is the keyboard for the 11"? Is it too small and cramped or still comfortable to type on?

The key layout on the 11" is a full size keyboard.

I find it great, but I was fine with the 105 before and this one seems slightly larger. I can't verify that though as I already sold the 10.5 before the 11 came in and I can't find dimensions anywhere.

I’m used to the keyboard of the 2017 12.9, and the 11 inch isn’t taking any adjustment. I didn’t even realize right away— I was just typing totally normally, and then it occurred to me.... hey! I haven’t used this before!

Same size as 10.5. I have large hands and didn’t have trouble typing on the 9.7 ASK. This one is no trouble at all. I like the ASK, one of the better keyboards that I’ve used and I’ve used a lot of them over the years.

I tried it at the Apple store, and it seemed just fine to me. Of course, YMMV under prolonged use.

One thing that occurred to me, as I played with the 11 inch and 12.9 inch iPads, was that the larger screen on the 12.9 inch is a mixed blessing. In addition to the obvious trade-offs of portability and cost for more screen real estate, there is the ergonomic consideration....which is very individual. A larger screen and physical keyboard means that your hand has to take larger excursions to reach content on the iPad. iOS is a touch first UI. So, you are constantly moving your hand around from keyboard to different parts of the screen. With a smaller screen and more compact keyboard, the excursions are less. Of course, in the extreme, it can become too cramped and small for practical use. But, I don't think this is an issue for the 11inch iPad with ASK.
