After 9 iterations of iOS, why is there still no feature to move apps in bulk (moving multiple apps to a different page at 1 time instead of 1 by one)? I know you can do it through iTunes, but by 2015 it's kind of absurd that this is not a feature on the device. Jailbreakers have been able to do this for quite some time. Why does Apple not do this?

Well, I agree. Organising apps on the home screen is a pain in the arse. I also have trouble moving apps from page to page or moving apps into folders (the folder more often jumps to the side rather than recognising that I want to put something into it). It's mostly hit or miss, with the annoying result that it will screw up all your pages because you accidentally dropped one icon.
This is the reason why I don't touch the launchpad on OS X. I don't want to have to deal with this.

But what if I just want to delete some of them not all of them? Sliding one by one to delete is boring and wasting time.
The home screen is something I am amazed Apple hasn't tried to improve yet, it essentially been the same since moving icons was introduced in iOS 2 (I think). The problem isn't just how to move large numbers of apps, but also basic organisation. For example I would love to have a screen that shows my recently used apps, or most used apps. Or sort by alphabet or app type. Also, the OS should be able to move apps I don't use much out of the way for me, rather than having to manually search through and move them one at a time. These are just a few ideas and it would make the home screen so much more flexible and useful IMO.

That seems like what proactive is trying to emulate. Let you access your most frequent or relevant apps regardless of where they are on your phone.
lol you're kidding right? Dont call those people and you won't have to delete it in the first place.
I don't mind Apple not giving us widgets but I would love it if they give us the ability to put icons anywhere we want in the grid.
I'm still waiting for Apple to allow you to place icons where you want on the screen instead of filling up each row.
If you put them on from a backup it usually puts them in the order you had them, including any folders.
Unless Apple has changed this, you can do this by connecting your phone to iTunes and moving them around on the iTunes interface.
At least I think that's how it worked. I haven't used iTunes in a while.
This is just an example.
I totally don't understand why Apple hates bulk deletion so much on an mobile operating system.
