In my first coupe of hours after doing from a transfer from my 14 PM, battery is just as crap for me. Hopefully it improves after a day or so, or with another software update.

I mean... indexing is a thing. See how it is in a week?
I could take 48 hrs or so to finish indexing, depending on your internet speed and your backup size. No need to worry.
it's one of those things where you watched your battery % drop by the min doing simple stuff on the 14PM and so far this has been a repeat lol, indexing seems to be complete but will be interesting to see the next few days or so.
It is going to use heaps more battery on the first date of use and setup due to all the processing, indexing, etc involved. Wait until you are in a stable use pattern to evaluate it.
Significantly improved over my 14PM. I had 6 hours of SOT yesterday with just over 50% battery used. I think I either got a bad 14PM or a good 15PM or both because the majority of people seem to be saying battery life is about the same. I'm also not having any of the heat issues people are complaining about. It was even cool when doing setup/phone transfer.
I would say you probably got a bad 14 pm. My 14 pm has about 6-7 hours SOT on 50% battery.
But I am happy for you that you got a good 15 pm! Enjoy your new phone 👌
Pants at the minute. Presuming it'll get better after everything is synced/indexed and its had a good few cycles

I’m getting quite good battery life. It’s currently TUESDAY at 06:00 PST, the last time I charged the phone to 100% was FRIDAY at 13:48 PST. Thats about 85 HOURS ago. Total use overall is ~ 5.5 hours, mostly screen time, safari, youtube, messages, health, activities, trading apps, finance apps, 30 minute phone call, LOTS of trading notifications, messages, alerts. One 15 minute zoom call.
At night, I put the phone in airplane mode, so no cellular when it’s next to my bed, but WIFI is on and it’s in a SLEEP focus. That’s about 8.5 hours of each night, so FOUR nights of 8.5 hours without cellular enabled. Phone has been mostly in house with WIFI bubble, but outdoors for 3-4 hours of walking the neighborhood, so on cellular only then.
Overall, seems to be working out quite well

No major issues with my battery life with my 15PM. Maybe marginally better battery than the 14PM but very similar performance.
No not new. I got an express replacement in may because my other one fell down the stairs but both have had similar battery life. Coconut battery says this one (now 5 months) still has 103% battery.
I have heard reports of som 14s with bad batteries, so maybe you were unlucky with yours? Both of mine have been great (knock on wood)
Mine has been good then bad.

Today 07:30 98% by 17:00 down to 26% again only moderate use with a 15 mins teams call.
A lot of today was only on 3G due to location not sure if that would affect it, give it a week to see how it goes.

A definite improvement compared to the regular iPhone 14 for me - so very happy!
