If you mean me, this stats are taken in cellular (dedicated) mode only (as written). No iPhone has been carried with - that's the reason for the cellular version, isn't it ;-). When connected to iPhone surely it lasts its 2 days...
I was asking OP. I had an issue with my watch battery plummeting after installing the beta on my phone and restarting both the phone and watch fixed the issue. Funny enough I bought a model with cellular because I thought it'd be a cool feature and I haven't even set it up yet half a year later :p

LTE/cell mode
dedicated usage
Non LTE/cell mode
connected to iPhone

To make it comparable if it's interesting for someone...

i have recently got a series 4 Apple Watch. The first few days the watch ended the day with roughly 50%. Since then I can barely make it through the day the battery tanks and I’m not using it any differently.

I had a first gen Apple Watch a couple of years ago and from what I can remember I could usually wear it for 2 days before it ran out of juice. I tried a hard reset but hasn’t changed anything.

How does yours hold up? Do you usually get a full day? Wondering whether something is wrong with mine.
Non-cellular S4 aluminum:
I can make it from 5:45am to 11:00pm, including two 30-minute workouts, with about 55% remaining. Sometimes more, but hardly ever less, depending on how much I use it during the day versus my phone.

The brightness is set to medium, prominent haptic is on, and I've turned off background access for a few unimportant apps. Otherwise, nothing else specific done to maximize battery life.

I tend to get 3 days out of mine, with it 15% remaking on day 3. I turn it off when I go to sleep though.

My first one used to last 2 days (with few workouts done). The "new one" Apple send me as a replacement lasts 1.5 days max :(
Edit: now it looks like i might have a trouble going thru one day. If it's not software related, no more AW's for me...

My series 4 cellular battery life has imploded in last 5 weeks. Not on Betas. I used to finish day with 30-40% and am now running out of power by around 6-7pm on the day. Before I lug it down to Apple, any suggestions ?

I have the same issues. After 12 hours my watch was on 20%. Did a quick ring around of my friends asking how much battery they had left, ~80%. I have Apple support ringing me today.

When they do, can you let me know the suggestions ?

Have the same battery drain. Watch has been active 3 weeks and it’s using roughly 10% per hour while just sat on my wrist. Alll apps closed down.

Not sure if this is due to fact that my AW 4 44 LTE watch is 24 hours old, but so far battery life is horrible with usage=standby time and 5% per hour drain. Hope things will improve

Same here.
But overall isn’t all Apple Watch battery life rated at 18 hours?
Just got my 44mm couple weeks and it does last 2.5 days with no workout. On workout days I just have to remember to charge it during bathing/brushing teeth

I was forced to unpair and repair (The Activity app had stopped syncing and no matter what I tried and how long I waited, it didn't pick up). What a difference that made on battery life!! With the same apps and same settings it feels like at least double the battery life. It definitely only drains only half as much during sleep.

I had also noticed that my phone had startet to heat up and become extremely warm when streaming music to BT or talking in phone. So much I was worried that it was getting dangerous. This has also stopped :)
