I decided to take advantage of the $50 promo and finally picked up the Apple Card, but I'm paranoid about the card getting scratched or stained.

For those who carry their physical Apple Card daily, how is it holding up? If I decide to carry mine, it will be placing mine in a brown leather Coach wallet as depicted below. How should I expect it to hold up?

Mine is stored permanently in a black leather wallet. Still looks good. I haven’t really examined it though. It’s a free credit card. As long as it works, I don’t care.

Good point. Honestly I’m so used to babying my Apple products that I hadn’t even thought about it this way. Thanks for the perspective! Into the wallet it goes.

If it gets damaged, you can request a replacement card. Don't seen an issue. Mine is in my wallet. Every day. All day.

It’s titanium. It’s going to do more damage to your wallet than anything. I don’t let the thing near my polished stingray wallet. You get more cash back using The phone linked to the card anyways

But the white paint can chip off. Had a bit of mine come off using the card as a makeshift flat head screwdriver tightening the grips screws of a Sig P220.

The card is pretty baller to whip out if people have never seen one or handles one before. I make a point to let it clank onto the table / counter.

I just had to order a replacement card. It looked almost like ink on my magnetic strip, but it wouldn't wipe off even with alcohol. Guessing a card reader damaged it. It worked about 1 out of 10 swipes.

After almost 2 months line is still in good shape. It gets used a lot since not everywhere takes Apple Pay.
It’s been dropped twice once by the girl behind the counter. You could hear it outside in truck. (I was in the drive thru) It only has a light scratch on the mag stripe.

Don’t particularly care. I never use it just tap to pay. Have much better rewards from other cards with the exception of the few places I get the 3% cash back from Apple. Really got it for the discount on Apple services and purchases.

I use my card a lot since there’s not a lot of places around me that do contactless. I’ve had my card since the beginning of July and it’s held up well so far. It’s been dropped on the floor a couple of times. Despite all of this there’s only 1 or 2 light scratches on the mag stripe.

It's pristine.
Not because I've babied it, but because I've maybe only used the physical card three times in the year I've had it.

So Calif
Have had it for a year and never left the desk drawer.
This card will look new as I never swipe it.
Always by Apple Pay tap and go or use the digital numbers on the phone to pay manually.
