Other How likely would you be to recommend Iphone 6-11?

Please refer to other similar threads. Plus, you've given no information on what the phone will be used for, budget etc.
iPhone 11 is great anyway, and one of the best you can get right now (but a a more budget friendly iPhone is coming in the next weeks).

Medium budget, I’d pick the 11. The difference between the devices are explained on Apple’s website. If you have specific questions, bring them here.

11! Great combination of cost, great battery life, Pretty good screen. Just the right size. This phone will last you for yrs! Even the xr is good if you don’t care about the battery life.
 
Some of it has to do with your personal preference. I chose the 11 Pro because it’s the smallest current model. The 11 is a little bigger and heavier, and lacks some features. I’ve read the OLED screen on the 11 Pro can affect some users so the LCD on the 11 is a better choice for them. It seems fine for me so far. You could find a used 11 Pro within your price range.
 
I would have preferred the 11 Pro last December, but since I was upset with Apple went with the 11. I've gotten somewhat used to the size, but liked the size of the X/11 Pro better.
