How long after I sign up for Dev, will it take effect?

My DEV account ended a few weeks ago, I was waiting for the event today to decided if it was worth renewing to get the 4.0 early.

So i renewed, now how long before it takes effect?

I guess there are a lot of new subscribers today, but any thoughts?

I guess it's impossible to guess with any accuracy, but I'd think a couple of days to a week if they process it as a new account. If it's handled as a renewal it may take place almost immediately

Nope generally done in about 24 hours unless they need more info. Also if you are non-US I think that takes up to a week to proecss.
